Overseas Pakistanis
UAE Pakistani Rishta
Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah: how Pakistani families can describe a UAE rishta, a residence visa, and a nikah back home without posting passport numbers.
Pakistanis in the UAE often live on a residence visa tied to a job, with parents and the wedding plan still in Karachi, Peshawar, or Lahore. Write the emirate you live in — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, or another — and whether that stay is employment, a family visa, or a long visit. Do not post the visa page or a passport number to prove it.
Hamsar is not a sponsor and cannot tell you if a spouse may live with you. That answer comes from your own employer and from official rules, which change. A profile should still be honest about the hope: stay in the UAE, return to Pakistan, or undecided. An undecided hope is allowed. A hidden one is how families fall out.
This page explains how families search. It does not list profiles, member totals, or stories about real couples.
Nikah at home, life in the Emirates
Many families want the nikah in Pakistan even when the flat is in Dubai. Say who pays for the flights in ordinary language, who can get leave, and how long a spouse might wait before joining. Those are family numbers, not something to transfer to a stranger in chat. Never send a deposit to hold a proposal.
Which Pakistani city is still home
Your UAE city and your parents' Pakistani city both matter. Link them in the profile text. Someone in Sharjah whose family receives guests in Peshawar should not be searched only as Dubai. Use the city pages for that Pakistani home as well.
Practical notes
- Name the emirate, not only UAE.
- Describe the stay as work, family visa, or visit, without document numbers.
- Say if the nikah is planned in Pakistan.
- Do not pay anyone who claims they can attach a spouse to your visa.
In Find Matches, set the country to United Arab Emirates. You only see profiles someone published and marked discoverable. Hamsar does not list people on this page.
