Rishta for Overseas Pakistanis
What UK, UAE, Saudi, US and Canadian Pakistani families should agree before nikah. Visas are not something Hamsar arranges.
Decide the move before the hall
The painful version of an overseas rishta is a nikah with no shared idea of the following year. Write, in the profile, whether the spouse is hoped to move, whether you might return to Pakistan, or whether you want someone already in your country. Parents helping from Lahore or Karachi should not blur this to attract more replies.
Country pages on this site cover the UK, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Canada in more local detail. They still do not list members. There is no count of how many people are searching.
Visas are outside this product
Hamsar does not sponsor, recommend lawyers, or store passports. If status matters to the practical question of living together, describe it in words you are comfortable saying to a family, not with document numbers. Anyone who asks for a fee to attach you to their visa is a reason to block and report, including when they sound religious or sound like they already love you.
Time zones and Eid
Agree hours when elders in Pakistan can actually talk. A weekly call is a plan. Rarely is not a plan. Say where you expect to spend Eid, and whether a parent could visit or live with you later. Housing in Toronto or Dubai may not match a joint-family picture from Multan. Have that mismatch in words early.
Nikah here, nikah there
Some families do the nikah in Pakistan, some do it abroad, some do a religious step in one place and a civil step in another. That paperwork is for the families and the officials or scholars they choose. This site will not check a certificate and will not tell you which stamp you need. Do not send certificates to a new match as an opening gesture.
This is general guidance. It is not a religious ruling, legal advice, or immigration advice.
