Sponsorship and permanent residence are legal processes for you and a licensed representative. Hamsar is not that representative. A profile may say, in your own words, that you hope a spouse can join you in Canada. It must not ask anyone to pay fees, and it must not collect passport copies. If the person would rather stay in Pakistan, that belongs in the same paragraph.

Parents on two continents
Decide, before the hall is booked, where Eid will be and whether a parent may live with you later. Canadian housing and Pakistani expectations of a joint family collide in that conversation. Have it early. A video call with the wali or another trusted elder is appropriate. Hiding the elder until the ticket is bought is not.
Do not collapse Canada into the United States
Families sometimes say North America and mean three countries. Set Canada specifically so a person in Lahore understands the move. If you would also consider the US or the UK, say so as a sentence, and read those pages. Do not leave it as a surprise after engagement.

- Refuse anyone selling sponsorship help through a matrimonial chat.
